Genesis WIND & WUTHERING First Press Vinyl LP

On offer here is a 33rpm LP Record of WIND & WUTHERING, by Genesis and issued on the Famous Charisma label in 1976. The line up of the band is: Phil Collins (vocals, drums); Steve Hackett (Guitars); Mike Rutherford (Bass Guitar); Tony Banks (Keyboards)

First UK pressing, indicated by the following points:

Textured outer cover (later pressings had a smooth shiny surface)

Mad Hatter label (see pictures below)

Sleeve printed by Robert Stace

Matrices on run-off groove are A2 & B2

The record itself is in excellent condition, with hardly any visible scratches or marks - perhaps just the odd one not readily detectable under normal house lighting. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps and just the odd light pop and faint crackle on the odd occasion (just to be critical). Minimal to no spindle wear, though there is some light 'caving-in' on the outer rim of the hole on (again I'm finding things to be critical about, and these 'blemishes' may be slight manufacturing faults rather than wear and tear). Labels very clean.

The sleeve and inner lyric sleeve are also in excellent condition, with only minor storage and handling wear (light bumping to corners, bit of rubbing to edges, light ring marks at top and bottom of front cover, nothing much to speak of) The writing on the spine is still bright and clear with no missing letters. Inner sleeve has only very light wear (very light ring marks, light soiling). Overall an excellent item.
